Auto Pedestres and its corresponding Facebook Group is a private project which gives you an overview about more than 150 hiking trails in Luxembourg. The biggest challenge is that the website is only available in luxembourgish, however you can use translation function from your browser or just click on “Interaktiv Kaart” in the header of the website to get a card of the country where you can select the single routes. After choosing a route you will get an overview of the starting and all the way points. Don’t worry if you decide to go on a trail you will find the signs on the way itself as well. You could also download the GPX data and use a navigation app like Komoot so you don’t get lost on your way. In addition to the map the website also provides some basic details like total distance and that’s the best part reviews from users which helps you decide. If you visit their Facebook group you will also get some recommendations from other hikers in Luxembourg that usually even provide images.

We recommend to just try out a route close to your home desitnation and follow the signs on that trail, you will be surprised how easy it is to follow the way. In most cases the ways are also very well maintained so you can even walk with your dog or kids. If you need some inspiration we recommend the route around the wonderful castle in Larochette or the big forest between Bettembourg and Leudelange.
